The Deputy Chief Minister directed the concerned officers to conduct a detailed quality assessment of the ongoing works and ensure that construction is carried out strictly as per approved designs, specifications and prescribed engineering standards.

The two bridges, BR-1 and BR-2, each have a span of 181.60 metres. BR-1 is located between RD 0/200 and RD 0/300, while BR-2 falls between RD 3/010 and RD 3/180 on the T01 to Dhalote via Talour road.

The allotment cost of BR-1 is ₹2,365.87 lakh, while BR-2 has been allotted at a cost of ₹2,429.45 lakh.

Choudhary directed officials to submit a detailed assessment of the factors responsible for the slow progress and ensure remedial measures without further delay.

He stressed that vital connectivity projects must be completed within stipulated timelines without compromising construction quality, keeping in view their importance for the people and the overall development of the region.
