Srinagar, October 14: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has revised school timings across the Kashmir Division, with the new schedule coming into effect from October 15.
According to an order issued by the Director of School Education Kashmir on October 14, government and recognised private schools falling within the municipal limits of Srinagar city will function from 10 am to 3:30 pm.
Schools located outside Srinagar municipal limits, including those in other areas of Kashmir province, will operate from 10:30 am to 4 pm.
The order directs all concerned educational institutions to strictly adhere to the revised timings without any deviation.
The directive has been issued to the concerned authorities, including Chief Education Officers, for information and strict implementation.
